With the anticipation of the cold and flu season among us, and the holidays shortly thereafter, it’s no coincidence that incidents of illness rise at this time of year, particularly consider the increase in sugar consumption, lack of vitamin D from sunlight and fresh air, more sedentary physical behavior, compromised sleep patterns and poor food choices.
